ShareWorthy(1) 10-24-14

This is a really interesting story and I think the world needs a few more people like this, who stand up for and believe in themselves. And I think the only way a person can learn to do this is from the support of others.

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

Dragonfly 10-23-14

This photo is very bright, you can see the light reflecting off of the dragonfly's body and wings and it gives the wings an almost crystal-like appearance. If you look at this photo and the next one comparatively it almost looks like this is a different dragonfly of a different color.

This one is darker than the other two and I think I like the lighting a bit better, it focuses more on the dragonfly then the pond below. It also shows the sky and, I think, a metaphor for how sometimes we can see and taste freedom but are still caught up in our own spider webs.

Here, the photo is taken from further away so we can see the spider web in greater detail, and we can see the empty space that surrounds out subject. The background here is a bit distracting and if the camera had been tilted down a bit more it would have cut out a majority of the distractions.

These photos were taken in a unique opportunity, in a spider web above my pond a dragonfly had been snared, making for a good string of photos.

Привет 10-21-14

Привет! That's hello in Russian, no I don't know Russian. I am trying to teach myself to read it though!  Don't ask me why, I'm not entirely sure myself.

Anyways, this is our blog! Welcome one, welcome all! We [we being me and my authors] will be posting most art that we produce or any art we come across that we find interesting. Photography, sketching, writing, sculpting, book reviews, painting, poetry, digital art, news stories, bright new ideas, Russian. Again, just don't ask.

Hope fully we can keep up with this. Who am I kidding!? What are the chances of that happening?
I hope you enjoy was does get up here, and thanks for reading this,
